Get ready to blaze the trails at Big Creek, Newport’s newest mountain biking hotspot! These trails are a labor of love from the local bike club, NEWTS, and the City of Newport, offering riders a thrilling adventure right in their backyard.
Although it’s a smaller system, don’t underestimate the excitement it packs. Perfect for newcomers to explore, and for seasoned riders to push their limits – especially during the adrenaline-fueled Flow Duro Challenge.
On race day, Sunday’s lineup includes the heart-pounding Norm! + Dude Sweet + Learning Curves trails, totaling 1.3 miles. Sure, there’s a climb involved, but trust us – it’s a scenic journey through towering trees that’ll take your breath away. Plan for about 40 minutes from Big Creek Park to reach the top of the race course.
After the race, keep the good times rolling at Big Creek Park with a celebration featuring delicious food, lively tunes, and refreshing beverages.

12:15 – 2 p.m. Packet pick up & Registration for the Flow Duro Challenge (if you are able to pick up your packet during this time, you will not need to arrive early on Sunday morning and can go straight to the race course by 9 a.m.)
