This epic and family-oriented Tour de Outback offers two different gravel rides and three different road rides, all starting in the iconic town of Adel (Population 106), located 35 miles east of Lakeview, Oregon. There are plenty of activities planned for the weekend and it’s definitely worth sticking around.
Tour De Outback’s registration proceeds go to the Beaty Butte Wild Horse Training Facility, whose mission is preserving the population of the wild horse, in order to help maintain a thriving ecosystem. In addition to a tour of the facility at Beaty Butte, there will be petroglyph hikes, dark skies to view, hot springs to soak in, and a great after-party at the Adel Store that will provide games, food, and beverages. There just might be a live band to finish off the day.
