The 20th Annual Ashland Independent Film Festival (AIFF) is a live and outdoor event that will present approximately 100 new independent features and short films, with its traditional emphases on the subjects of activism and the arts. There will be a special focus on the theme of “Rising From the Ashes,” in recognition of Southern Oregon’s emergence following last summer’s wildfires, as well as Cuban Art and Film (the subject of a spring art exhibition jointly presented with Ashland’s Schneider Museum of Art).

All films will be accompanied by Q&A sessions, supplemented with virtual parties and mixers bringing filmmakers and audiences together. Ticket price: Ranges from Free to $10. Discounts for members, seniors, students, and financial hardship.

Live events will take place at AIFF Film Center (Ashland), ScienceWorks (Ashland) and Walkabout Brewing Co (Medford).
