Caroline Vineyard

Welcome to the Caroline Vineyard Experience!

We have a passion for sustainability and growing grapes of many varieties! Co-Owner Donna W Russell bought a 28 acres grass seed farm in 2012 in the Chehalem Mountains, and planted a vineyard in 2016. While earning her degree in viticulture, she worked with a professional vineyard management company and has dry farmed the vines from the beginning.  LIVE Certified Sustainable, and dry farming our 34 acres (13.5 acre vineyard)  organically!

With boundless energy Dona has created relationships with  local boutique winemakers to produce amazing, and very limited amount of wines that are offered to our CLUB Members Only. Our tasting room, located in The Chehalem Mountains AVA, has an amazing view of the Dundee Hills to the south, the Cascade Range to the SE, and is open to the public, by appointment only, to try our wines, and join our club. In 2020 Donna and her husband expanded their operation, and purchased an additional 6.16 acres property with an existing “old vine” Pinot Noir Vineyard in the Yamhill-Carlton AVA. The wines from the first vintage, to the current one, are offered to our club members, from both the “Caroline Vineyard on Calkins Lane,” and the “Caroline Vineyard on Cooper Lane Vineyard’s.”

Donna is happy to host potential members at our tasting room for a one of a kind and personal tasting experience! No children, pets or internet to distract you from an “insiders” access to the wonderful fruit and wines made here, in OUR Oregon, from our two distinctive vineyards sites.
