I’m a local and this hole-in-the wall gem served some great Brazilian food! My friend who took me there ordered and it was a great experience. We ordered the special of the day, and there was plenty of food for 2 and was fresh and very good. For those passing through Brookings, Oregon please be kind to our locals and realize there may be a 5 minute wait- we are having challenges getting qualified workers.
They have the most amazing food. We love their Esfirras, a hand held meat pie. We really like the beef and mozzarella one. The breakfast crepe is awesome also. They have the best coffee. The owners and staff are very nice and friendly. If you haven't been here, I highly recommend the place.
We stopped here for the first time. They are so friendly and nice in here. We ordered two meat pies to take home. They were very good and we will be back.
Tasty homemade hot sauce and juices. The hot sauce is especially delicious on the Romeo and Juliet sandwich. Had the Sol juice. Not your run-of-the-mill carrot juice, mildly sweet and creamy, which makes it difficult to not drink it all in one giant slurp. The esfirra was as you would expect and quite large, and the hot sauce jumped it up a notch. Great people, very attentive and friendly.
Long time resident of Brookings but just tried Tropicalia on a whim during a recent rain storm. While the eating area is small, we happened to have perfect timing and found a table for 2. Glad we stopped. Great food at a reasonable price, fast service and very tasty. I had the Turkey Club Crepes and my wife tried the special of the day which was a Brazilian beef stew which she raved about. Beef melted in her mouth. Selection of wine and craft beers are available.
