Staying at Salishan Lodge across the road. We asked to reserve a table on Sunday evening. I was told they didn't take bookings but they'd put my name on a wait list; if we came on time, they'd keepa table for us. We arrived on time, restaurant was actually pretty empty. Good selection of pasta dishes. Big portions. We all felt that the dishes could do with more flavour, a wee bit bland but quite acceptable. The cakes were good, & again huge portions. Reasonable value for a nice, but not outstanding meal. Service was good.
This place really knows how to make good pasta. The house-made lasagna is excellent with house made ricotta too and the clam pasta had plenty of clams. The food is flavorful and authentic. The service is friendly. One of the best options on the oregon coast.
Was told it is a limited menu, dine in only. None of this is stated in the ad with Trip Advisor 2019 cert of excellence logo. Beware call before you go. I will pass, they need to update the weekly ad. Very misleading.
My friend and I went to the restaurant and instead pasta they gave us noodles and on top of that they gave us the pasta we asked for in such a rush that it tasted so awful. The pasta they gave was raw and very hard to eat. It was like a bowl of oil, pasta and cheese chunks. And I accidentally spilled water and they just walked over and just ignored it. After we went home my friend and I puked. Food was horrible and service was also horrible.
Was excited to try this restaurant as Italian is one of my favorite cuisines. This is not true Italian. Maybe we hit an off-night? The meatballs were definitely not homemade. Since the desserts in the deli case were all from Costco I assume the meatballs probably are too. This is not the restaurant for me.
