Enjoy elevated cocktails and cuisine at Food Studio.
Great food, great service, overall wonderful experience. I believe the owner is the chef. Place used to be called Blondie’s but Food Studio is way better.
A Hidden Gem
In moving to this area, we try to touch on all the restaurants in order to get a good grasp of what to recommend to our visitors. This one has slipped by us over this last year, but we finally came to eat lunch here. Let me tell you, this is a hidden gem! The owner is a hard working man, who has developed a menu that caters to a wide selection of tastes. They have an impressive (alcoholic) drink menu; an impressive appetizer menu; and a good general menu. The atmosphere of this restaurant is so friendly, calming, and the décor is very relaxing. Love the mural on the main entry wall! I recommend the crab gratin with toasted slices. There is a very generous amount of crab, the creamiest sauce, and just the right amount of cheese melted over the top. It may look small when it comes, but it's very, very rich and deserves to be shared! The hamburger that my partner ordered looked, smelled, and tasted delicious! If you aren't really hungry, then split it with someone, because it's very filling. The Cobb salad was large, and according to my dining partner, he said it had all the right ingredients. The bleu cheese dressing was wonderful - not overpowering, not too bleu, just right. From the wait staff to the owner, they were so very friendly and knowledgeable about the food, I was impressed. So if you are looking for something different; a treat for the senses, try Food Studio. It's located in a strip mall on 6th and G Street in Grants Pass, Oregon.
The food, service, and atmosphere here were amazing. Food was cooked to perfection and tasted wonderful. The server was on top of everything and the chef even came to our table and talked with us. After our meal we ordered some coconut cake and it was the best cake I've ever tasted. I will definitely come back many many times. Highly Recommend.
Though few of my "foodie" friends from Grants Pass were familiar with the Food Studio, my wife and I gave it a try last Friday. What we discovered was wonderfully warm service and a dinner that was definitely of a higher caliber. My wife had the smoked salmon fettuccine and I had the special which was blackened cod tacos. Both were excellent as were the Peach Mojito and Texas Tea that we paired with our meals. I will be informing my friends about the jewel on "G Street" that we have been missing. We will be back with our out of town family next week!
Eclectic and good food!
Loved the atmosphere in this place! Very eclectic, warm and inviting. The service was excellent and the food was very good. They made the best Manhattans! Although they feature some nice local wines, they need to offer a little more variety.
