A top place in Bandon. A nice getaway from the Bandon Dunes busy restaurants. Get reservations. Upstairs bar is a bit confined but option is downstairs
Traveling by myself & got dinner to go tonight. Really nice atmosphere & friendly service. I had the special: swordfish with rice, asparagus & some really good red sweet peppers. Also had the Bleu Iceberg salad w/bacon: very yummy. And, the bread was delightful. Highly recommend!
Edgewaters is hands-down consistently the best restaurant in Bandon. Always friendly and welcoming, from the owner to the busboy. Always interested in correcting any misstep, which are few and far between. SO glad they have survived the hard pandemic years - you rose to the challenge, found out what works by not being afraid to do what needed to be done and are still here to delight diners, local and visitors alike. I mentioned consistency: to me that is the most important factor in a restaurant. Find out what your customers like and keep them coming back with consistently-made favorites and only change up the menu through seasonal and availability-affected specials. Nothing worse than loving a dish and then finding it gone from the menu. Edgewaters has this down to a science and recently, we have noticed some subtle improvements: crisper vegetables, really well-made sauces. The meats and fish continue to be top notch and we were pleasantly surprised last night by the addition of an amazing double-cut pork chop that we hope becomes another wonderful staple. Thanks, Sheila, Larry, Bob, Kellan, Julie and all the other wonderful staff at Edgewaters - always a pleasure!
Do enjoy this establishment when in Bandon. Orderd steak Oscar and was able to cut it with my fork. Every time my spoon came put of the cup of chowder there were clams on the spoon. Server Kelen was terrific and quite entertaining.
