We were hesitant to stop at the little place on the 'corner' - however once inside we were pleasantly surprised both by the charming decor and the amazing food and service. We have been back every single trip to the Oregon coast (from WA) and love and look forward to our meal at this restaurant - it has become a destination for our and we will plan our trip around it even.
what a fantastic experience ... Jason is truly special.... we booked online and that was easy .... he was able to accommodate our unfortunate gluten, mushroom and milk allergies and prepared made to order tofu salads, oysters, bao, sashimi in a beautiful ice boat, seared scallops and delicious ramen... He is so inventive and made us a surprise dessert as well..we loved it so much we went there two days in a row ... what a fantastic host and gentleman... you gotta eat here ...
I booked Asiatico online; the app was very easy to use. The menu had some great Asian selections; the restaurant feature ingredients as part of the decor and I loved seeing brands that I am familiar with. My ramen arrived quickly and was delicious. Jason was a superb host/chef/server who obviously cares that his diners have an excellent experience.
This was one of the foodie experiences we have ever had - the owner/ chef is the server. Jason is also the owner and clearly loves his job. The dishes were fresh, and prepared with love. Expectations were set correctly. This is a gem!
A superb Asian-style restaurant. Primarily Japanese, but serving a flavorful eclectic East Asian mix (even kim chi). Beautifully prepared and served. Intimate, locally owned and staffed small six to eight table venue. Quiet and cozy. Bentos, kobe beef, sushi, ramen dishes are excellent. For us, it is clearly one of the two best restaurants in Depoe Bay, the Thai Bay being deliciously comparable. Five stars all around. Maria, Bob, Nehani, Jon and Ron
