Nailed my takeout breakfast and that’s not easy
I was staying with my partner at her brother’s house watching his girls for a few days. How we got roped into that WHILE THEY WERE REDOING THEIR KITCHEN, I’ll never know, but I ended up picking breakfast from Grain Works and I couldn’t have been happier. Their taco omelette was delish AND it was perfectly packed! When I got back to the house, even my toast was still crispy! They even cooked the potatoes well done and they were great. The staff was great and it seems like they’re a well oiled machine.

Local brews & homemade goodness!
Friendly staff! Had breakfast one day and loved corned beef hash! Dinner the next to try the brews! Yum!

Great place for breatfast
I can't remember how many times I've been to Grain Station for breakfast, but more than for lunch. A large menu of potential breakfast choices awaits. They have a large outside patio as well. I've had the hash a couple of times. It is very good.

Our GoTo Restaurant
We love the Grain Station. They have a great breakfast menu and really good waffles. The staff and management are kind and friendly. We will never get tired of their eclectic menu.

Food almost inedible
I had the worst Cobb Salad ever. The chicken looked like it was old and it tasted old. It was diced into small chunks. Even the boiled egg tasted bad. The blue cheese dressing was pretty tasteless. The presentation of the salad was not pretty. I have had many Cobb salads other places and if it is done right it is a delicious salad. This was not. My husband had the fish and chips. The fish was over cooked almost petrified. The waitress bought him a few more pieces after he complained and they were overcooked as well. These are simple items that are not hard to make and any good chef should not have a problem. The cole slaw that came with the fish was pretty good and the only edible thing on the plate. Fries were so so. It was really a bad experience. Too bad Monmouth can't produce any good food. The former J.s was a better eating establishment. The service was okay.
