    Short tour and lunch

Short tour was fantastic. The guide was very informative and the cheese tasting portion was really fun. Staying for lunch was maybe a mistake as there were way too many people and it took forever to get through the line and get food. The food was good, but not good enough to justify the wait.

    Not worth the wait

We visited on a Monday afternoon around 3:30 pm. After doing the self tour and looking around the gift shop, my wife had a taste for their ice cream. We went outside and got in line which wrapped around the side of the building. After a 30 min wait, we got to the front of the line to find 1 cashier and 1 ice cream scooper, no wonder the line was so line. From the ice cream counter we could see the food counter across the way, one no was in line ordering any food, but you could see 7 people between the counter doing nothing. The ice cream was fine, but not worth the wait.

I had so much fun here. The self-guided tour was quick and easy to follow, and most of all, fun! And the market with all their different products downstairs was great as well. Perfect to pick something up to snack on for our long road trip.

    Our Oregon Excursion

We have been hearing about the Tillamook Creamery for a long time especially after loving their ice cream. So spending a night in Tillamook we had to visit the Creamery. To say it exceeded our expectations is an understatement. The self guided tour of the cheese factory was wonderful. We really enjoyed watching the workers process the cheese through various stages. We loved being able to buy some of the products. This is a place we would highly recommend that everyone visit.

Cheese and Ice Cream, oh my

The highlight of the place is the self-guided tour, which is on the second floor, overlooking some of the cheese making and packaging. It's fun to see all of those blocks of cheese getting sized and wrapped! And - they give out free cheese samples in cute little individually wrapped packets. But that's not all. Besides the gift shop, there's a restaurant (menu heavy on the cheese) and an ice cream shop. In good weather, the ice cream line is outdoors, and it can get very long. Enjoy your food at the long tables with benches, available both indoors and outdoors.
