Dry Canyon Disc Golf Course

Recognized by the Professional Disc Golf Association and established in 2011, the Dry Canyon Disc Golf Course in West Canyon Rim City Park in Redmond is a permanent course with 9 holes on a flat elevation. With a course length of 2,774 feet and an alternate length of 3,292 feet, the DISCatcher course weaves through the dusty high desert terrain sparsely populated by groves of juniper, sage, and grasses. As the name suggests, canyon walls on the west form one of the borders, the east bordered by a paved walking path. There are two baskets for each hole, yellow rimmed and naked; there is a practice basket available. Set up for families, the layout is ideal for less agile players and provides easy access for strollers, but the longer baskets can play tough and there is frequently wind in the canyon. There is a fenced dog park next to the parking area for those escorted by four-legged friends.
