The Pix Theater is a modern first-run movie theatre open 7 days a week with 200 seats and offers a unique atmosphere in Historic Downtown Albany. The Pix shows both new releases and classic films and also offers tasty, reasonably-priced concessions including local beer and wine along with house-made treats. If you like, you can sit at a comfy table in the back and eat hot pizza or a burger while you watch a show. The theater is housed in the 1892 Straney & Moore Livery Stable building, one of the finest examples of commercial Queen Anne Architecture in the city of Albany.
