Well Done
Located in the “Old Town” area, this former school is now a very interesting museum. Occupying two floors, it is run by volunteers - there is a modest fee to enter. This is a nice representation of the history of the town, and a bygone era in general. It seems there is enough memorabilia to fill a space twice what is available, but they make good use of what space is available. While there, don’t miss seeing a model of a sawmill next door.

Outstanding attraction
If you are even a little bit interested in history, don't miss the museum for historical research about the area. The museum is beautifully presented and well worth the visit. Expect to spend at least 2 hours.

Fascinating little museum
A glimpse into another era! The volunteers on duty were so hospitable and charming. Incredibly well preserved items, giving a well-rounded view into the history of the town. Obviously a lot of love and attention went into this museum. Kids and adults we saw were having a great time. Don’t miss the original telephone switchboard!

A visit to the past
This museum used to be a school. There are no more students, except for the desks. Everything in this museum is dedicated to the olden items from the past. We saw lots to see: music, clothing, a whale vertebrae, how to use the phone in the past, shells, boats and weapons. There was way more. It was interesting to see how people used to live here. Worthwhile to see!
