Engaging and informative
This is a well -put together museum. The history of the area is extensive and the displays are well done. They are creative and engaging for any age. The artifacts are displayed very well and are quite old. We spent just over and hour here.

A large museum, worth the visit
This is a huge museum. It used to be an old armory. It has lots of exhibits on old early 20th century cars, American Indians, gems & minerals, forest information, and pioneer exhibits. It will take a while to go through if you take your time.

I'll Be Back!
This museum is chock full of fascinating things to see, beginning with the building itself, which once was the armory. The exhibits range from vintage cars to gems to local luminaries to, of course, the Modoc War. In other words, something for everyone, and not just history. Plan to spend some time here, or come back again and again. Well-stocked gift shop and very friendly staff. Highly recommended.

Museum with kids
Right when we walked in we were greeted with a smile and they handed my kids (9, 7, 6) scavenger hunt papers. At the end they also received a cute little gift for finishing. We absolutely loved our time there. My 6 year old asked to go back tomorrow. Very interesting the history of the city. They had some fun stuff for the kids to interact. Highly suggest if you are in the area. We drove an hour just to see it and we thought it was worth the visit to Klamath.
