The International Police Museum is the home of an extensive collection of vintage and modern national and international police uniforms and equipment.
The purpose of the International Police Museum is to collect, preserve, exhibit, and interpret police history and heritage of the Rockaway Beach and Oregon police departments, and national and international police departments.

International Police Museum has moved to 320 S. Hwy 101, inside the Washed Ashore Craft Mall, open 10:00 to 6:00 Tuesday through Saturday (971) 306-1043 See artifacts dating from 1829, an Oregon Boot restraint from the 1860s and see atrifacts from Richard " Dick" Tracy, Multnomah County Jail. See also State of Oregon Police artifacts and a uniform of the Tillamook County Sheriff's Possse, 1950s. The collection of handcuff restraints is interesting.
It's a small town museum with a focus on the police. And some typewriters. And a few sewing machines. It's eclectic, fun and small enough it doesn't take a long time.
Very interesting new exhibit of the founding and development for the City of Rockaway Beach. Explanations, pictures of early settlers, along with displays of tools and artifacts of the period and city. See the website for new children's interactive opportunities.
Child and mobility friendly. Excellent opportunity for a broad look at police activity over the last century. Current displays include Tillamook county law enforcement, Oregon State display, Women in Policing and a new display on the history of Rockaway Beach from the late 1800 to current activities.
Small but interesting museum. Took me about 30 minutes to view it. Took many pictures on the digital camera. They have a donation jar for you to put a couple of bucks, so don't be a tightwad, help them keep this place going. It's what small town America is about.
