Caples House Museum

The Caples House Museum is located in Columbia City, Oregon, three miles north of St. Helens. Perched on a hillside with a view of the Columbia River, the historic home of the Dr. Charles Green Caples and his family is a time-capsule in history. In addition to the Caples House Museum, there is a Pioneer Tool Shed, Children’s Museum, Tea Cottage, and the Knapp Social Center. The property also includes a Heritage Orchard with apple and pear trees. Enjoy the river views, take a stroll on the grounds, or pick apples in the heritage orchard.

Caples House is open for tours and visitors March 1 to October 31, or by appointment. Caples House Museum is owned and operated by the Oregon State Society Daughters of the American Revolution.
