Williamson Campground

The Williamson Campground is one of the larger campgrounds in the Lostine River Canyon. Situated along the Wild and Scenic Lostine River, the campgrounds has lots of shady pine and fir trees which makes it popular for summer and fall campers enjoying the canyon or adjacent Eagle Cap Wilderness. Located on the fork of Edson Creek and Sixes river, this site is a popular swimming and fishingdestination. The boat launch area provides accessto the river for small boats. Lava Cast Forest Day Use Interpretive Site

This interpretive site is situated the Newberry National Volcanic Monument. The landscape was formed by various lava flows and includes many tree molds that were created as the lava burned through the wood and cooled into casts. This site on Meadowlark Prairie provides direct access to Amazon Creek and adjacent wetlands. Elk Lake Boating Site

ALERT: This site is unreachable due to winter closure of the Cascade Lakes Highway. Elk Lake has a picturesque setting, with the Three Sisters towering over the north end of the lake and Mt.
