    Glamping tenwas idyllic

We (couple) stayed in a standard-size glamping tent in Oct 2022. The tent was fabulous!! We did encounter some very rainy and windy weather and the tent performed perfectly. Though the weather was not frigid, we can attest that we stayed very warm and cozy. The Prospector tent is in a great location on the property. It felt quite private and had good access to the bathroom without being right on top of the bathroom. The bed and linens were good quality. we didn't want to get out of bed! The vibe in the tent is very comfortable, textural, and cozy. It feels like a hotel room and not a tent. you can fully stand up and the floors are wooden. We like that they provided items for cooking and making coffee. We didn't need to worry about paper products and pans. Great location for Crater Lake NP. As you are driving to this property from the west (coming from Roseberg area), you may notice forest that has been damaged by fire. Don't be alarmed... the area around the resort is fully forested. Travel Tip - Idleyld Trading Post is a great option for grabbing a sandwich as you are coming to the resort from the west. There aren't many dining options, and the sandwiches there are massive and well-made. We are so glad we got "dinner" on our way in.

    First time Glamping

This was our first time glamping, as such, we had a learning curve. However, this was a great place to try it out! Management was welcoming and helpful, grounds immaculate, bathrooms were clean, and the tent was AMAZING! Comfortable bed, fluffy towels, everything exuded comfort and charm.

    Family Friendly Location

The Last Resort is an idyllic and family friendly place to stay. My husband and I, along with our 9 month old son stayed in the Prospector Glamping Tent. It was a clean, quiet and intimate location. The tent was warm and cozy. We woke up to wild turkeys walking by, which our son loved. A little kitten had made its home by our tent and became quiet friendly. The setting was relaxing and we really enjoyed the little details such as the private fire pit and chairs. The price was reasonable. Staff was friendly and helpful. We would highly recommend staying here.

Adorable cozy cabin and campgrounds with everything we needed!

This spot is AWESOME! We stayed here for 3 nights while exploring Crater Lake and it was the perfect "home base." We stayed in a King Cabin which was plenty of space for 2 people - technically it could sleep 2 adult couples but the loft seems more appropriate for 2 kids with the ground-floor king bed for the adults, but you do you! :) The mini-fridge, microwave and supplies were everything we needed to make our meals for out on the trails and after a long day of hiking, and they even have breakfast food at the general store starting at 6am we just didn't happen to try it. The grounds are so welcoming, the showers were FABULOUS, and the check in process was easy and helpful with lots of advice on things to do in the area. I would absolutely stay here again!

    No power

Small park situated close to road across from the river. Walkway access around bathroom facilities hard to walk on. Should use 3/4 minus rock instead of the large round pieces that move when walked on. RV spaces are situated close to each other. No power for the first night due to fire danger. Toby and John were very helpful with my generator issues. Gave John $20 (beer money :) for having worked on it. Payed for two days and only stayed for one as still no power next day. Toby stated that "They went over and above for me" While I don't dispute that It would have been nice to be reimbursed for the day with no power or Wifi.. Was told by Toby that he would speak with owner about some kind of reimbursement. We'll see... Was also told by a very helpful female employee that the wifi is not included with stay. Will stick to the coastal RV parks and campgrounds from now on.
