Located on the Wood River 6 miles from Crater Lake National Park, Jo’s Motel and Campground offers cabin-like suites (year round), tent and RV camping (Spring through Fall), as well as organic grocery store, deli and espresso.

We made a reservation more than a month in advance to go see Crater Lake. There were no vacancies in the Park of course, but then I found Jo's Motel. This was an old-fashioned strip motel, where you could park your car in a little carport next to your unit. The unit we had was two rooms. When I read the list of rules, plus they didn't allow children or pets -- I kind of figured that was why they had a vacancy. You had to check in by 7 p.m. so good thing we went straight there. I have to say the Organic Market was really cute and we picked up a few things there. When we checked in, and shopped, we weren't really welcomed. I felt like we were bothering the woman. It was odd that one of their rules was no backpackers. We saw lots of them in the area and at Crater Lake. They probably would have liked an organic market. We didn't realize that there was no kitchen in our unit but just a microwave and small fridge. Though the unit had 2 rooms, the microwave and fridge were stacked at the end of a little hallway. No cooking utensils or anything to use for microwave cooking. Since there didn't seem to be a restaurant close by, we had planned on cooking our dinners. We stay at a lot of places where you have to cook your own meals and most have proper things set out to make this easy. Lucky we had paper goods, plastic utensils and even paper towels, so we were able to manage. There was a table so that was nice. And the coffee was good, too.
terrible terrible people ,book a room ,and when they find out you are here for a local event ,they kick you out and zero refund,anti american,will not alow an american flag to fly near there joint ,,dispicable anbd just plain b.as in b and s as in s,avoid this p[lace ,stay at the only true motel in fort klamath,,,THE ASPIN INN,,you will not be turned away stay away from the other sos called place,,
These disgusting people turn my grandparents away in the middle of the night because they attended a local party. They had reservations and prepaid and they were not given a refund. My grandparents are in their 80s and had to sleep in their car. The Aspen Inn and Crater Lake Resort on are great. Please do yourself a favor and never stay at Jo’s Motel because if they discriminate against old people, they are the most hateful people. They also don’t allow pets or children.
Most un-accommodating motel. Sign read “No kids. No pets. No groups.” Does not support the local community. There was a celebration in Fort Klamath and Jo called guests that had booked and told them to book elsewhere and kept their deposit even though he kicked them out. He found out another set of guests had attended the local event and wouldn’t let them stay the night-they slept in their car(mind you they’re in their 80’s). Absolutely awful motel. Not recommended.
This motel sucks!! Don’t ever stay there. Keep your deposit and NO REFUND. What a f$@,!ng horrible way to treat people. There will be hell to pay. Believe me. Rude is the only way to describe them.
