Sounds Friendly

The hotel is newly remodeled and the staff was more than accommodating and friendly. My friend and I enjoyed our stay. I gave us 3 stars out of five for the reasons that it was very noisy, not only with the highway (I know they have no control over that) and the our neighbors above. Every step they took, every time they turned on the tv, and every time their dog would play with it’s toy-we heard it. Now, not sure if that was just the room we were in but it was quite frustrating come time to sleep. But as far as staff goes…some of the best customer service I’ve had in a long time.

My stay at Depoe Bay

Clean, affordable room but parking was an absolute nightmare. Making the reservation was easy and checkin/checkout went smoothly, but that was the only time I saw the manager. Also, friend who was staying there had a room with a bathroom in a state of disrepair.

Noisy room

Room noise, both from the road and other guests, was loud. Lights in the room need repair, both due to bad switches. Lost item down sink drain because of no popup drain piece. Bathroom counter fascia was partially held on with a screw. Staff was courteous but limited in their ability to resolve problems

Wonderful place to stay!

Wonderful place to stay! The rooms are very nice, spacious, clean, comfortable, nicely updated and a lovely view. It was really nice to have a refrigerator, microwave and balcony. The front desk lady was absolutely amazing! Exceptionally nice, welcoming and hospitable! Walking distance to shopping and restaurants. Pet friendly and even a small picnic area which we enjoyed. The only thing we didn't love was that the floors in the room are that laminate that leaves your feet black; I wish it had been carpet. It is located directly next to the main highway but I didn't find the noise bothersome, quiet otherwise. Doesn't offer breakfast which would have been nice, but minor drawback. Overall though this is a wonderful place to stay and we will definitely stay here again when we visit the Oregon coast!

Broken

The staff in the office was great. Unfortunately that is where the good experience stopped. The refrigerator stunk and was not working. The worst part was the toilet did not work in the room,had to go down the road to the Chevron to use the bathroom. I would never recommend this until it has been renovated or fixed DO NOT STAY HERE!
