Amazing value for wonderful hotel
The price for this hotel was misleading. I did not expect such high quality, but I was very pleased to find such a nicely appointed hotel starting in the lobby, all the way to the room.. Modern retro styling, very hip and cool. The bed was amazing! The bathroom large and the soaps high quality and smelled great. The towels and linens very nice. I look forward to my next visit.
Nice and large room, nice colours, large bathroom, friendly staff, convenient location and we also got a good rate as we booked two months in advance. Indeed a good night after a bumpy night in an Amtrak-bedroom.
We had a corner room which we enjoyed very much. The food in the restaurant was excellent. The service at the front desk was excellent. The valet who parked our car was very friendly. The Nespresso machine was a nice touch.
Hotel OK, surcharge a scam
hotel was fine but when we checked in, after booking and paying online, they charges us an extra $25 per room per night. That was not told to us in advance and we would have stayed somewhere else if we had known about that charge. I feel like we were scammed and don't appreciate paying in advance for a specific price per night then finding out it actually costs more. What a rip off.
Great location, even greater service
From the moment I checked in till the moment I left, I felt like I was a very special guest. Incredibly well run hotel. I'll be staying here every time I visit Portland. I wish more hotels were run like this.
