Perfect Luxury Getaway in Downtown Portland
Luxury and elegant hotel in downtown Portland. Look forward to coming back. Highly recommend for a couples getaway as the property is beautiful and staff was super helpful prior to and during our trip. The room that we were in was 100% awesome! The Nines Hotel was great. We were able to text the front desk from the road and provide our status and put in special request too. The staff (front desk and valet team) was super accommodating and treated us very well. Shoutout to Michael who helped check us in - super friendly and welcoming and Janessa too who was at the front desk. We stayed in a 1 bedroom suite and loved it! The room was spacious and had beautiful luxurious decor including a couple of chandeliers (the welcome bottle of sparkling and hand written card left for us by the concierge team blew us away - thank you Cruz for helping make our stay special!! And reaching out prior to our trip to help us plan our stay) Can’t wait to come back!

Best pet-friendly hotel around. Stay here.
Stayed two nights just before Easter, and had a wonderful experience. The steakhouse Urban Farmer was our holiday meal, and absolutely delivered. Had some a la carte snacks on the rooftop at Departure, as well. Excellent cocktails (and mocktails/NA options for me!) and wine at both. Would return for both. The highlight, however, was the service. Clint from the front desk went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. We had our dog with us, and Clint made the whole process of getting us to our room (which was lovely, and maybe an upgrade?) very pleasurable. We got a cool tour to boot, as the hotel itself is very chic. We will return.

A beautiful hotel in downtown Portland
We stayed at the Nines in Portland for a couple nights during our honeymoon in March. The property is beautiful, the room was super fancy, and Michael at the front desk helped make our stay extra special. The hotel is right downtown and easily walkable to many of the things we wanted to see in the city, their gym was large and well equipped, and room service breakfast was prompt and tasty. A couple of small drawbacks: for being in Portland it was very lacking in vegan food options for my partner, and as someone that can’t drink alcohol amenities involving just wine make me feel a little left out.

Above and beyond
Above and beyond! All of the staff here were friendly and helpful. I loved my room and was grateful for the upgrade. Comfortable bed and great temperature control. I thought the hotel was in great shape. The valet staff were exceptional. It was raining my whole stay and the hotel provided umbrellas. Do not miss checking out departure even if it’s just for a drink. Lovely concept. I enjoyed my dinner there too.

Check your folio.
We were charged for a mini bar item we didn’t use. The card we used in the hotel was compromised and had fraudulent charges after our visit. It had to be cancelled. They wouldn’t refund the mini bar item to another card so we lost the money. Also no parking except for valet. It’s an older hotel that’s in okay shape. I wouldn’t stay here again.
