TripAdvisor Ratings & Reviews
Just spent 2 nights in the hotel and it was wonderful. The staff was super accommodating, the rooms are unbelievable, love the decor. Great location in the heart of Portland and easy walk to stadium and other attractions. Had brunch at Urban Farmer, I recommend the Eggs Benedict which are loaded with ham! Overall very impressed with service and overall hotel, will be back!
stylish hotel in portland
The room was larger than I expected, I had booked an atrium view and got an exterior view. The decor is stylish and everything seemed in good condition. There was a small area with a desk. The bathroom was large. They provided bottles of water and evening turndown service. One of the most positive things is that they don't charge a resort fee, which seems to becoming an industry standard. my main complaint is that at times we had to wait several rotations to get on the elevator there were so many people using them, and most of them weren't going to guest rooms because you had to use a key to go to those floors. You also have to be very careful about touching anything on the minibar or they will charge you.
Truly Has Everything!
This beautiful hotel has just about everything one could want n a luxury, downtown hotel, I found the staff to be most courteous and considerate at all times, from the greeting at the entrance, the check-in, meals and visiting the rooftop bar. Super well appointed, high quality rooms and views of Portland. The aforementioned restaurants and bars were also superb. One can enjoy walking all over Portland's magnificent downtown quite easily from here. For any reason or need one could think of - this is the nicest place to stay.
Very good location and rooms
Think of it as a wanna-be-boutique-hotel that was hijacked by the Marriott brand. I shared a room with a friend on the concierge level (2 queen beds). The room was large with all the typical amenities of a standard hotel room, including complimentary water. The bathroom and shower are integrated so only one person can use it at a time. Although it is a newly renovated hotel, as of 2019, the toilet seat is very small (less than standard). No coffee maker or an espresso maker as one would expect in a nigh-end room. The reception is strangely located on the 8th floor, but the 8th floor button in the elevator is not mark as Lobby or Reception; instead it is "8", while the street level entrance is marked as "L". The concierge lounge was less than delightful. At 9:15 AM they were already out of breads... how can a hotel run-out of bread?
Great Location, Great Service,
Stayed two nights at the Nines, which is in the heart of Portland across from the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and near the main downtown shopping mall. Close to museums, the Powell Book Store, the Portland Saturday Market. Rooms very very nice and service was fantastic from the check in through the departure. They also have a great fitness room with three Peloton bikes.
