Gem in Oregon wine country
Our two-day stay was perfect at the Allison. The staff are warm and genuine, our room was spacious and felt more like home than a hotel. We only ate breakfast at Jory and it was delicious with a nice array of creative options. The salad and fresh herbs must have come from on-site or nearby as they were the freshest I’ve ever tasted. This is all first-class. Can’t wait to return.
I'm pretending I never left.
RM 414 Date of Stay Sept 17 - 18 // 2019 I've been to some fancy places right, this is the only place I've pretended not to leave. The only place I've gone back to in my mind... ok maybe I've done that with the Burj al-Arab too .... but that's a pretty tight list. The service was fantastic. The food was delicious & served quickly (bar/lounge, Jory and room-service)...a must for our hangry duo I really like the motorized window shades. and the window box seating area was perfect for us. We were always treated with dignity and respect by all of the staff. Thank you for the GF bread too BTW it made everything better ;) The real test is: was my wife happy? The answer was: YES. & she's isn't easy to please. ;) It was a Happy Anniversary.
Willamette Valley Trip
Fabulous resort, wonderful room, exceptional service and great restaurant. As nice a resort that we’ve stayed in for some time. Certainly the nicest we saw in our journeys through the Valley. We would highly recommend The Allison to our friends and family.
wonderful experience in the Willamette valley
Fabulous hotel!! Very relaxing. Food was wonderful as well, and the setting was beautiful & peaceful. Would absolutely come back to this property. Easy to get into wine country from the hotel...visited several wineries within 20 min of the hotel. Only an hour drive to the Portland airport.
Nothing out of place...
As a just-outside-Portland place of respite, the Allison is an OCD person’s dream. Everything is pristine, tranquil, and built for luxurious comfort. The rooms are spacious and filled with nice touches (free snacks! Plush robes!), and the beds are cloud-like. Food at Jory is excellent, and the on-site garden is evident in the cuisine. It’s expensive, but you definitely get what you pay for.
