Should be called the More Terrible lodging
The view is great, but that's about all this place has going for it. All I wanted was a hot bath after a long day and 8 mile bike ride, but after the bath tub wasn't even half full, the water went cold so that was really disappointing. The bed advertised as a queen is actually a full so they need to update their room descriptions to reflect the truth. Not to mention it's hard as a rock and woke up with a sore back. The bed is also on wheels like the bed I had as a child, so it gradually rolls away from the 'headboard' attached to the wall, then your pillow falls back there which is annoying. Fiance just found out the coffee maker doesn't work, all I could do was laugh and say I'm not surprised. There's a microwave and fridge, at least those work. The fire alarm is missing, so be highly aware of fire hazards.

Stay on the water!
Perfect small rustic get-away with quick access to the beach, for long walks and spending time outside. This lodge is dog friendly, with a very friendly staff. Clean rooms, some ADA friendly. Lots of parking and 5 min drive from boat launch for boats, kayaks and crabbing. Units on the ocean side offer an amazing view. Pricing is very reasonable for area and for ocean view rooms!

Nostalgic roadtripper vibes
My husband and I stayed here while casually road tripping from Portland to Seattle. This was a cute little roadside hotel. Look, it's not the 4 seasons but it did the job. Beautiful waterfront view at sunset with loungers out back. We waited there as our room was not ready at check in time. Only one poor young man turning over all the rooms. God bless him. Once we got in, the room was a bit dated but otherwise fine.

Terrible room.
Bad experience overall with this place. Showed up about an hour early and we called the number on the office door since there is no staff, to see if we could check in early. The nice guy on the phone said we could, but our code wasn’t working. So we had to call back and they had the last 4 of my phone number wrong so we tried the number they had on file and it works. Got in the room and it just looks run down and not clean. Went in the bathroom and there was a dead spider and mosquito hawk in the tub so I’m wondering if they even clean this place! Went in the bathroom later and found a live spider on the bathtub rim. The chain link to the door was unsecured because the trim it was attached to was falling off the wall!! This room had bugs, is outdated, unclean and unsafe. Room #5 just for your info. And WAY over priced. I can’t believe how much I paid for it. Ridiculous and won’t be staying here again! I wish I would have taken pictures..
