Beautiful Oceanside retreat! Balconies overlook the ocean - you won’t want to leave (I picked up takeout food to enjoy eating dinner with that amazing view) Rooms are clean. Front desk staff friendly and welcoming. Walk down steps on the north edge of property for direct beach access - this is a less crowded area; perfect place to enjoy a beach walk. Great value on the Oregon coast. Loved my stay and will be back!
Rented Pacific Suite. They said it would have a king bed. Only had two queens. In the smaller bedroom, the bed blocked the walkway and there was no room for a night stand. Very musty smelling. No counter space in bathroom. Hot tub too cramped to get lid on and off easily. No air conditioning.
As you enter Lincoln City, if you turn down 28th and go to the end of the street, you'll see a brown building with a black starfish on the side of it. You have arrived at one of the premier hotels in Lincoln City! There is a covered garage directly beside it and a limited uncovered parking lot on the same location as the building. The lobby is welcoming as is the staff. The weekday prices are very reasonable on the off season as is with most hotels everywhere in the world. The weekend rates are a bit high, but if you're treating yourself, it may be worth it. The room we stayed in was on the top floor (yes, there is a decent elevator), and they have trolleys in case you brought too much luggage. The room was generous in size, well appointed with a couch, extra large ottoman, kitchenette counter (fridge and microwave) with a wonderful deep spa tub near the window so you can enjoy a warm/hot soak, turn on the fireplace, sip your wine and enjoy a great view while you let the worries, woes, and aggravations of the day or week slip away. Do you want to close the curtain until you're in the tub, probably, but maybe not! They even treat you to robes left out on the comfortable king bed, so you'll have something cozy to get into when you get out of that deep soak. Now everyone knows that hotel coffee is the worst, but even their coffee was fairly good. I doubt Wolfgang Puck had anything to do with it other than lend his name, but it was good. There's a restaurant just down the street from them, that, while a little on the spendy side does have decent food, or you can go just up the street, back to 101 and find a decent pizza if that's your taste. This is a first rate hotel with a first rate view of the ocean. I recommend it as a great get away from the world. Remember, you get what you pay for, and this is worth the rate.
We decided to get away for my wife’s and I 5th anniversary and was excited about the hot tub and the fireplace right in front of the tub. I thought it would be s perfect romantic place for my wife and I to get away for the day. First thing I notice when I walk in the room #202 is that they have patch work on the ceiling as soon as you walk in. Was thinking that’s alright maybe something happened and had to fix it. Totally understandable. But then the fire place didn’t work. So I went down and said something to the front desk and she said there was nothing she could do but give us blankets and a heater. Disappointed to say the least. For the money the place charged I won’t be back.
there were two things. place smelled like smoke from weed being smoked in the room hallway elevator. says not to do any of this .. General manager said we try to find it well didn't try too hard and did nothing for us for putting up with it for two days as far as lower the bill just we took care of it yes, they checked out. Second stay in the same weekend this weekend 2/27/2023 check in for one night for 179 plus for 11 hours and hair in the shower small as room smelled like weed again, we were so tired we just gave up. spoke to Ur general manager about the cost because apparently you can get a better deal online appose to calling the hotel direct .. You would think from our last two days in your hotel would be a little better treatment besides a bunch of double talk to sound smart and to throw some people off and just say sorry we will take care of it because we value our clients/ guest was using the internet and there are ads and programs to lower the cost. If i said that in my business over the last 24 years i would not be in business. It's like she basically said I don't care our hotel don't care so piss off .. She was there the first time we checked out so it's not like she didn't know what happened before.. we will never stay there and will tell all our 4200 clients not to stay or not recommend it at all .. The coho is way better sorry.. We gave you two chances and now none. I would pay 600.00 a night if need be so it's not the money it's the hotel staff that makes it a good trip.
