Odell Lake Mackinaw Tournament 2023
Staff was fantastic, site was awesome, great store and restaurant. Highly recommend! We rented a RV spot and boat slip for 4 nights and it was great on all fronts. The lodge launches your boat for you and stores your trailer for the duration of your stay making that one less thing you have to deal with after arriving!

Beauty and Shelter
Lovely camp sites, surrounded by trees. tasty cafe items and clean and safe terrain. David and his wife were a delight and you can tell he is an asset to his company. We slept good and felt the space around our site to be remote but an easy walk to the store and cafe. It was too early in the season to fish but we can't wait to come back for it.

Shelter Cove Fishing Trip
Over all this was a very pleasant experience. Arriving in early spring with colder weather and snow piles everywhere was a different experience for us. I believe it would be better in a bit warmer weather. The staff was very accommodating considering they were short handed and very busy getting things up and running. The kokanee fishing was challenging learning technique and finding schools of fish. We didn't really catch a lot of fish, But i'm sure we will do better next time after this trip. Great adventure! good people.... The camp sites for RVs were stacked in pretty tight, but it was quiet and enjoyable. We will definitely do this again.

Important amenities were not available
We booked a cabin because it had a private dock and we were planning to use our boat for a few days. However, they closed the boat ramp for the weekend and we were unable to utilize those , which were a major reason booking the cabin. Also they failed to mention that the restaurant would be closed for dinner. Cabin was nice, but not worth the price with no boat ramp and dock.
