Ocean get away
Don't waste your time or money, there are better placed all around the area. The location is not on the ocean, it is next to the highway where you hear traffic all night. When they cleaned the room all it was is make the bed and clean towels, did not empty the garbage, clean floors or anything else. It is a golf resort and that us it... But for the price I expected high end lodging..
We are here for a girls trip and booked the Aerial Park. LOVED it. Challenging and fun, we pushed beyond what we thought we could do and had a great time! Dillon and Chad were patient and helpful with us! And a bonus, Chad found a missing ID and credit card! I highly recommend doing the Aerial Park!
3 night stay at salishan resort was very special. son gave us gift certificate to stay here for our 50th Anniversary.
You must have a massage at the salishan spa! Well worth the money. We have had quite a few massages over the years in different states, but today topped them all. We will definitely be back. Be sure and check in a hour early to take advantage of all their amenities. The golf course is great too. Our stay at salishan was great. Rooms were verycomfortable and clean. The swimming pool was huge and sparking clean. The fitness was well equipped, so not sure of one negative view I read about pool and fitness center? We just came here in September 2019 so I can say I swam daily in this awesome pool! Our room did have a musty smell though, which I reported to front desk. Not sure why as rooms seem very clean. Other than that I would highly recommend this place. Yes, you have to drive to spa , golf course, but the location is worth it. Housekeeping needs to take care of musty smell by figuring out what's causing it. Other than that I would give this resort a top score!
I was suckered into participating in the Aerial Park. It was fun and Tyler and Travis were patient with everyone and willing to help out the guests who were "stuck" building up the courage to concur a line. There are easier sections that you can build up your courage on to things that require more courage and willingness to possibly end up doing the splits.
Still great after 35 years of visits
Ultimate zen getaway on the Wild Oregon shore. First visit after camping in 1984, most recent for anniversary in 2019. Every visit in between has left us refreshed and taken by the carefully tended woodlands, tidal marshes, dunes and timeless architecture. Like being in a Japanese temple grounds with landscaping that looks as if it just happened that way. Art and sculpture at every turn. Good and wine really good. Spa elegant and sited well. New this year a whole zip line and adventure trails through the property Bunkyo turfing. Loads of families this year. Salishan should be good for another 50 years.
