Two nights during a 6 night road trip
Nice room. Nicely appointed and decorated. Very clean and quiet. Somewhat outdated but good TV nd WiFi. The breakfast available is sparse. Staff is super helpful and knowledgable about the area. Convenient to local attractions.
The room we had was immaculately clean and, seemingly, recently revamped. Comfortable, well lit, quiet. Lovely timber building, which is attractively lit at night. A breakfast is available from the small reception area, which is a nice touch. Healthy options include yoghurt, excellent breads, fruit. The receptionist is the owner, and she an her husband have been there for a year. I was last here 7 years ago, and really liked it then; if I were in the area, I would stay again, which says it all really. Well priced, too. Highly recommended
Nice place for the money
We were pleasantly surprised to find a hotel with nice rooms so close to Joseph that was priced so well. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean, and it was pretty quiet. The only negatives were the pillows, which were pretty thin, and my wife had a hard time getting truly hot water for an evening bath. In the morning, though, I had no trouble with hot water in the shower, so it might just have been bath rush hour the night before.
Really Nice but Pricey
Room was clean with two queen beds, big flat screen TV, coffee and tea offered in room, breakfast snacks in lobby, microwave and fridge. Two story structure and good parking. Price was $99.92 for two which was high in my opinion. Located in center of town and no highway noise.
Great stay for the money
We just spent a great long weekend in Enterprise, with the Ponderosa Motel as our base. The rooms were clean and roomy, with great log style furniture. And quiet. We did not hear the people upstairs or on either side of us, so that was impressive. The value was excellent , we could bring our dogs, and the town was centrally located so it was easy to access the Wallowa wilderness on day trips. Pat, the owner, was super helpful when we had some car trouble, and George at the Texaco next door put in a new battery in our car while being the only person at the gas station - on a Sunday! Claire the dog in the lobby greeted everyone with wag of her tail. Breakfast was simple but the banana bread was perfect. Small town courtesy and customer service for sure! We will be back.
