Convenient, clean, friendly, quiet
We spent two nights in August, and even though the motel appeared sold out both nights, it was very quiet. You're at the east end of town, and it's wonderfully walkable to restaurants and stores. It is an older motel, so not "snazzy" with a pool or hot tub or high-end amenities. (But the rooms are bigger than a typical B&B room.) It's a "mom and pop" sort of place - friendly, warm and welcoming, and provides all the basics. The bed was comfy, as were the pillows; the white bath towels are thick & absorbent; wash cloths are colorful so no worries about stains for ladies washing off make-up. (Very clever!) There are chairs and tables out on the lawn for an early morning cup of coffee. We went to the grocery, bought yogurt, bananas, bagels, etc and had our own breakfast out there with our coffee.
Cozy little place
I had such an amazing experience at this cozy little motel! Very clean and well kept, love how close it is to everything! Felt very much at home! Debbie was excellent so helpful and made this experience so wonderful!
Home Away From Home
It's not often that you find a place like the Indian Lodge Motel that scores so high on staff, cleanliness, and location. Debbie goes above and beyond from her friendly check in to working hard to ensure that your room has all you need to making sure you know how to contact her, if necessary. We didn't have a reason to contact her, though, because our room was sparkling clean and had everything that we needed (fridge, microwave, soap & shampoo, extra towels, extra pillows, etc). The location is perfect, within walking distance of breakfast and shopping, and -- of course -- the view is stunning. You're in Joseph, after all.
Good Economical Choice
I spent one night here. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was clean, and the bed comfortable. Price was reasonable. Easy walk to downtown shops and restaurants. Can hear guests in adjoining rooms when air conditioning isn’t on.
Perfect place to stay in Joseph.
The room was small but perfect. We could easily walk into town. It was clean and quiet. We enjoyed the quaint feeling along with the well maintained building. It was really a treat to step out in the morning and walk to breakfast.
