Unless you like being treated like a prisoner and told that you have to leave for no reason other than the owner is a power-tripping, aggressive, rage-aholic then PLEASE DON’T STAY HERE!!! I was kicked out for being slightly irritated by being told I have to leave so my room could be cleaned. I didn’t need it to be, but it was “required.” The owner treated me like $&@! and kicked me out!! Trust me, I’m just a normal guy and not one to be aggressively handled like that. I’m not the type to get kicked out of places, ever! Oh well, guess he hates his life! Don’t stay here… EVER!
$130 in August (including taxes). It was not quite the cheapest hotel in Bend , but it was close. And yet, everything was clean and there was even a bit of chicness to it. I was expecting something a little more tattered, but this was really nice.
On the outside this motel looks tidy and basic. The check in was pleasant and quick. The room was nicely cooled as we had driven 7 hours and needed a cool room when we arrived. The price seems a bit high for this motel. We paid the AAA discount of $140 with tax. But it was well appointed and very clean. The bed was a bit firm for my taste, but clean linens helped. The outdoor pool was a nice treat. If I were in Bend again, I would stay her again.
This place is not fancy - I'd say it's a two-star establishment. However, the room is clean, water is hot, bed is comfortable, microwave, refrigerator and TV all work just fine. The heater works, there is sufficient drawer space, the towels are clean and in good condition. There's really not anything for me to complain about! On top of all that, there's a bowl of candy in the office, and you can have all the KitKats, Milky Ways, Snickers, Hershey chocolate and Twixes that you want. I have read some complaints about there being homeless people living behind the motel. That's true, but they live in RVs, not tents, and they pretty much keep to themselves and don't make any noise. I didn't mention that there are restaurants, a Safeway and Walgreens within close walking distance. I think this place is a bargain given the cost of some fancier hotels in Bend. I would definitely stay here again.
Not a hotel but a Motel with all doors exit outdoors. . The web site states that there is a pool, breakfast & coffee there. When I checked in I was told the pool was closed & there was no food or drink available in the lobby though they did have a bowl full of candy...yummy. Everyone had to provide an ID in order to check in - totally unusual process maybe they do it to avoid homeless from living there. The room was OK, and it was clean and comfortable. The AC worked great as the air quality was harzardous. There is a great restaurant Nancy's next door. It was mostly quiet. We were4 surpirsed that the maid came in during our stay but it was nice to get clean towels.
