Exploring the coast.
Nice location in Lincoln City with beach access an easy walk right down the street. They do allow pets but the pet fee per day is a whopping $25! I got a great deal through Priceline on the room but the added on daily pet fee kinda blew my budget. Just be aware of this if you bring a pet. Otherwise we had a very nice stay in a clean room on the first floor. They are currently in the renovation stage and removing all the old furniture, beds, etc out of all the upper level rooms. Before we left they were starting to paint and had certain areas taped off. They do have a small sit down breakfast area with bagels, cereal, coffee available. The staff and owner was super friendly and very easy going.
Hot & musty
Guest beware! No air conditioning! It was very warm and hard to sleep. Fixtures and bedding outdated. Continental breakfast was cold cereal and bagels with coffee only. Friendly desk attendant though.
The pictures are misleading by a long shot. It’s old, dilapidated and smells awful. My room had an odor reminiscent of formaldehyde, no air conditioning (a box fan sitting on a table), the heater didn’t work, the bed was uncomfortable, I had to wear my socks at all times due to dirty carpet and it was noisy. It had decent WiFi and the parking was close by. If you have a choice, stay somewhere else!
Wowza... As in wowza what a mess!!
Yikes! It will do as a last minute, in a pinch, everything else is sold out recommendation. Which was the case for us. The check in was a nightmare. Slow... Like watching paint dry slow. Get ready to walk back down those stairs because the room keys don't work. The room smell like wet dirty dog, and did they dust? That'd be a big NO as you can see from the picture. The shower curtain smelled like it was used to potty training on, it was so disgusting I felt like I needed gloves to open and close it. Ugh! Never again!!
Glad it was dog friendly!!! Wonderful staff...also.
Wear shoes at all times. The carpets are just nasty. We had our pet, and they were very accommodating. If it were based on staff I’d say 5 stars, but hygienic condition was a bit rough. However for the price..... it works. The location is awesome with beach close by. It’s definitely in transition, and a jewel in the rough...... and if you need a last minute choice then do it. Just wear footwear at all times if on first floor... Be aware some local homeless come sneak in for coffee and breakfast offerings. Lock windows on ground level. Other than that!!! It’s ok.
