    Good Breakfast, Dog Friendly, But…

On a road trip with our two small dogs and reserved this place since they are dog friendly (for a fee and a deposit). The room needs some drastic updating as it is very run down. The common areas were acceptable. The breakfast was very good…a plus! Also, please be aware of where this is located…it seems to be in an area frequented by homeless people. We arrived in the evening, checked in and entered on the side entrance where we encountered a homeless person and all his belongings sitting by the door and charging up all his devices with the hotel outlet. He said he had “permission from the manager lady”. I took the dogs out at 6am and encountered two other homeless individuals walking through the parking lot…and another sleeping on the edge of the property. Additionally, the room was rather noisy early in the morning with the constant slamming of all the heavy doors. When we checked out, the clerk said she need to check the room before we left…rather uncomfortable. I probably wouldn’t choose this location again.

    Bites.

I stayed in this establishment a week ago. I experienced insect bites the next day after checking out. I brought it to the Management's attention and as they claimed they checked the room so that future residents wouldn't experience the same pain I went through. Nothing further was done in my direction, was left hanging really. Communication was a slow as I had to follow up multiple times. The place seemed nice but the lack of professionalism and caring about customers well being made my experience sour. Here's a few pictures as evidence. Thank you for reading. I'm using a family members phone because I don't use my phone to do reviews.

Standard business motel, needs some TLC

Standard business motel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had two rooms and in both the bathroom needed updating. There were chips and damage on the tubs and the bathrooms showed signs of wear and tear. There are two restaurants within walking distance, but not much else. If you have a car, there are many other services 1/2 mile away across the highway, but it wouldn't be a fun walk given the noise and traffic speeds. We left too early in the morning to experience the breakfast.

    Nice stay

We were in town to visit Crater Lake and opted to stay here instead because the place we were going to stay at near the park didn't have a fridge, microwave or television. The location of this place is nice as it wasn't far from the airport and only 90 minutes from the park. The very friendly staff got us in before we were supposed to check in which was nice. The rooms were clean even though the building and the rooms are showing their age. The hotel provides a nice free breakfast if you don't want to go out and spend any money. Overall a nice stay from beginning to end.

If it’s sleep you’re looking for, find a different hotel.

We stayed in room 301 on 7/21/22 and while the room was clean and the bed was comfortable, the air conditioner is the basis for the U2 album “Rattle and Hum”. This thing was so loud and so inconsistent that I was up almost all night and I have another 7 hours to drive today with very little rest. To top it off, when I let them know, the woman working the desk told me how sorry she was, but there was no offer to give any discount or anything else other than “sorry about that.” I spent 6 years traveling for business and I’ve never stayed in a hotel room that had such loud mechanical issues. Make sure you don’t stay here and if you do, do NOT stay in 301.
