Courtesy of a Departed Manager...
If I could give negative stars trust me I would. For starters, I managed, yes MANAGED the front office for all of 4 shifts. It took 4 shifts for not the scenery or clientele but the business owner to chase me off. I was set to work that front end...that was until the previous manager was FIRED from her position during my very first shift. I was immediately given all of her tasks, set to track taxes, tickets, reservations, answer phones and lovingly hand deliver all of my reports to my bosses home on the property at the end of my shift. I trained her on her own software, I trained her how to process a fricking credit card online, because she didn't understand. Even if we shared a shift, which we only ever worked together ONCE she would get worked up, snap at customers and do her own thing. Check ins and the phone were completely my job, even if I was tied up and she could definitely take a moment to get the phone. Emails? I didn't have access but according to the guests they were left unanswered for weeks at a time. Voicemail? I didn't have access but it was full. She'd track down customers first thing in the morning and hound them for fees, bereaving them and my kindness brought a woman to physical tears because of how agressive Carmen is. She charges extra for ADA sites, some of the sites definitely don't take into account PHYSICS and GRAVITY for the septic, the park is NOT set up for RVs, there are FAR TOO MANY sites in a small space, and the KOA in Warrenton offers more for a much lower cost. The park is unkempt, smells like dog sh- and is crumbling. There's rules posted everywhere, most of which would clearly just zap your good time, like no hammocks, no sand in the washer that costs 2.50 a load to use, every extra car will cost you, and depending on your site you might not get to have a car on the PROPERTY. a family is identified as two, be ready to pay a fee for your kids, pets, extra cars and oh? Two tents on one site? That's another $55 a night. The buisness practices are illeg, I will be reporting the owner. Quite frankly if they paid me more than $18 and gave me more power I could take that place to new heights, for starters Carmen wouldn't be working there any more. Oh, and for possible employees, you'll be paid once per month on the 5th, Carmen gets to choose if she accepts your hours and it's all handwritten. And a little more, I was in a cabin for about a week, floor unmopped, bathroom unclean with mold and hair, garbage under the bed, spiders all over and the smell of mildew

Camping near the beach
We've spent the last 8 days staying at Sea Ranch and it has been great! It is a busy spot with a lot of turnover. The maintenance crew is always hustling and it offers a great proximity to Cannon Beach

Not impressed
This RV park is stickler for the rules on check in time. You can show up a half hour before the appointed time, and they will not let you in. They don’t bother to check to see if the campsite you have reserved in already vacant, they just make you wait. You then have to take your RV into town to wait to check in. At that point, you think that maybe they are cleaning up campsites after people have vacated. Nope. Once you arrive, you have to navigate big tree branches to access your site. A friend who was camping with us in a different site could not even enter due to a big tree branch blocking their site. They had to ask a worker to chop down a branch so they could get in. You would think that if they are stickler for the check in time, they should at least check if the campsites are usable. Another irritation was they would not check me in because the reservation was under my husbands name and he had to be the person who actually did the check in. Therefore, if you are a family whose reservation is under a different family member who is coming later, you are not allowed to check in.

Absolute criminals, I will never return.
I have stayed here previously and it's ok. Yes, it's overpriced, but it's ok. However, I will never return as the owners are lacking any ethics and are criminal. Their reservations terms show short-term cancellations are subject to a one night fee however I cancelled a booking over six weeks in advance and they charged a one-night cancellation fee of $80 and refunded me $1.77. Wow, a refund of $1.77. They justify it by saying because of Covid they are short-staffed and it takes time for them to process. Their customer service is so poor that it took over a week for them to even respond to my cancellation request. I made the reservation based on the their reservation terms however they are not well-written or clear, they show that reservation changes are free and cancellations earlier than two weeks are charged a one-night fee. Never again, they really are criminal.

Close to town
A cute small camp ground, close to town walking distance also close to the beach, we loved walking into town to enjoy all Cannon Beach has to offer, loved the short walk to the beach to watch the sunset
