Great employees and the couple that runs it the sites are a little close but not bad, great views and a dog park for your furry friends. Nice and quiet easy access! We will stop here again! Nice place to stop after coming off of Cabbage hill!
Tight But Beautiful
Beautifully landscaped and with plenty of shade trees, this KOA Journey would have been a perfect overnight stop if we had not had to unhook our camper from the truck. Almost all of the back-in sites in this campround are too short to allow you to stay hitched because the camp is very tightly packed into a small area. But all the sites were paved — although the pull-throughs were graveled and cost $7 more a night. The restrooms and showers were immaculate. There is a small dog park and playground but no swimming pool, which is probably uniform for “journey” type KOAs. Lucky us, on Sunday the managers put on a cooked breakfast for $5 each and served sausage and biscuits, scrambled eggs, breakfast burritos and waffles. The camp was easy to get to from I-84.
OK park, would not stay there for very long.
Pretty nice park with all cement sites. A little close but not bad. It was quiet where we were along the back fence. The surprising this is the park has a large number of full time people some of which are kind of old and junky and some of these sites were full of junk. This surprised me as I did not expect this in a KOA. One or two nights is OK but I would not stay there any longer.
I was helping a friend drive a second vehicle to Colorado from Seattle and our first stop was in Penlton, Oregon. We stayed at the KOA campground there and it was great, the facilities were spotless, the people were friendly and the view was fantastic. Highly recommended.
Parking so close you can knock on the next trailor
We attempted to find a spot for the night. We had no luck. Spaces where so close together with no privacy. Only thought about stopping here since there is electric hookups at the KOA. The spaces we saw didn't have much for grass and sitting in a travel chair. It was extremely disappointing.
