The Jupiter is a boutique hotel centrally located in SE Portland. The hotel offers a unique haven for sleeping, eating, drinking, meeting, partying, or just watching the world go by. Get in the center of action near Doug Fir Lounge at the original Jupiter, or get a little more luxury and spectacular city views at the modern addition Jupiter NEXT.

Very clean, very hip, but the place is a converted motel from last century and all amenities are across the street in the Jupiter Next—which doesn’t have a restaurant, but does have a cocktail bar. The room did not include a fridge or a coffee machine and the faucet dripped, but they did provide branded condoms, which says it all. Onsite parking costs extra.
A man entered our room at 10:26am without knocking. We had the do not disturb magnet on the door. The hotel has paper door hangers in room, that if the guest does not hang the door hanger on the outside of the door, the staff will presume that the guest does not want the room "Tidied up".
We had a great first stay. The location was 400 ft from the venue of our concert, and the staff was amazing with our dogs! We left a nice pillow behind and they were amazing in hunting it down for us and shipping it to us. We will definitely stay here again!
Very comfortable stay, and a perfect location that can't be beat. I really love that the hotel has partnerships with other local restaurants and businesses–-it was such a good excuse to walk around the neighborhood and get treats!
I was in town for a conference and this was a great location, a short walk from the conference center and in an area with lots of great restaurants, many of which had cute outdoor dining areas. I recommend the Thai food cart next to Jupiter NEXT, which was perfect to carry out back to my room! The hotel is also on a bus line, which I used to explore in both directions and was very convenient. The hotel bar Hey Love was also nice and I stopped there for a snack and tasty drink, they had nice options including fun non-alcoholic drinks. I stayed in one of the king rooms and it was fantastic, spacious, and comfortable. The staff was super responsive, I loved that I could text with questions. I would definitely return for my next trip!
