Owned and operated by the Heppner Community Foundation (HCF), the newly renovated Historic Gilliam and Bisbee Building Event Center and Suites are thoughtful, unique gathering places for the community and private events. This restored 100-year-old event center and hotel is in the heart of Heppner, Oregon.
Originally built in 1919, renovated and restored in 2019, the Event Center is a 4,000 square foot event hall with an occupancy of up to 350 guests. This beautiful space has been the home of many community and private events including; weddings, baby and bridal showers, award ceremonies, industry meetings, celebrations of life, and much more.
The adjacent lobby area and industrial kitchen are perfect for a catered buffet or an additional lounge area for your guests. The event stage includes a state-of-the-art sound system for live music or a DJ, and a projector and screen for your event’s presentation.
Book the apartment-like suites upstairs to accommodate out of town guests. The four 750-square-foot suites accommodate 8-10 guests each. Each suite has a private bathroom and shower, 2-3 bedrooms, a living room, and a kitchenette. Additionally, guests have access to a shared common area with a large gathering table, TV lounge and breakfast bar.
