Beautiful Rooms and View, perfect location
My second time staying here while visiting family. I've stayed in the French suite and Casablanca. Both spacious, comfortable rooms. The homemade breakfasts are absolutely wonderful and they took our dietary restrictions in to account with no trouble. Would love to stay here again and would absolutely recommend to anyone staying in St. Helens.
The Best Bed and Breakfast Ever!
My daughter and I visited St. Helen's for the HalloweenTown celebration and stayed at Nob Hill for the first 2 nights of our stay (they were already booked for the weekend). We could not have asked for a better experience. Tana and Matt are two of the most gracious people you will ever meet, and made us feel like family. Like others have said, the home is very warm and inviting, and the food was outstanding. It instantly felt like we were a part of their home. We stayed in the luxurious French Suite and had every amenity we needed. We would highly recommend a stay at this beautiful retreat! Would love to come back someday!
I took my daughter to St. Helen's for the Halloweentown celebrations. Our stay at Nob Hill was amazing. Our room was so comfortable-the bed and linens so cozy-we wanted to stay in bed all morning. However, that would be a mistake because breakfast is so good! Our first morning we had the most delicious homemade yogurt and berries, croissants, and a crock with fabulous eggs! Sunday we had a family recipe dutch baby pancake. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to go again!
Beautiful Bed and Breakfast
We stayed in the Casablanca Retreat. We have a second home in Oregon and decided to take a side trip. The home is warm and inviting. Tana meets you on arrival with a beautiful smile. Our Retreat was beyond our expectations. 2 bedroom's, kitchen, living room overlooking her beautiful gardens. Breakfast amazing and outdoor space overlooking her gardens. We enjoyed 2 breakfasts always organic and home made. Tana would describe the health benefits and ingredients as she served. I would imagine that Tana is part hippie and part Marylin Monroe. Beautiful with a great heart. We look forward to visiting again.
Pleasantly met expectations!
Don't let the 4 out of 5 star rating deter you from your possible stay; it is very rare that I ever give a 5 star rating. This was a very pleasant bed and breakfast and I enjoyed my stay immensely. The owners have done a wonderful job of restoring a beautiful home that is delightfully situated at the top of a hill overlooking the small town of St. Helens. My room, the French suite, was comfortable and clean, and the only things that were a very minor annoyance was that the bathroom door needed some hinge repair (it was difficult to quietly open and close) and the bedside lamp did not work. The breakfast each morning was delicious and the owners did a marvelous job ensuring that everyone's dietary restrictions were addressed. Their culinary skills are top-notch. As far as the common areas, there are plenty of spaces to just sit and relax in comfortable furnishings making quiet conversations between friends memorable. It is apparent that pineapples are an integral part of the decorating scheme, and we started to devise a game for finding them all (much like finding hidden Mickey's at Disneyland). Overall, it was a great weekend stay that I would be happy to repeat.
