Get transported back in time to the most beautiful, natural, untouched sections of the upper Rogue River and underneath the magnificent Table Rocks (The Monuments of Jackson County). You’ll look at the favorite Rogue River fishing outpost of Theodore Roosevelt, view multi-million dollar homes and the homestead fishing get away retreat for Ginger Rogers, Clark Gable and other well know celebrities.
For all the same reasons we enjoy this region, so too did the native peoples. The Rogue Valley produced excellent weather for settlement longevity that is now filled with rich history, unforgettable beauty, and amazing wildlife.
You’ll visit the 1853 Indian Treaty location, see the location of Fort Lane, and witness the Trail of Tears. You will also be in the location that started the Rogue Indian war which ultimately lead to the formation of the state of Oregon. This is just a start!
