C2C Trail

56Mi
The first consideration for riding the C2C is a hotly debated topic - what kind of bike should you ride? While both a gravel bike and a hardtail mountain bike are fine choices, the hardtail is preferable for most riders. Don’t let the first seven miles of relatively flat pavement fool you - much of the route consists of loose chunky gravel, steep climbs, and even steeper descents that call for wide tubeless tires and disc brakes. Wide range gearing with a generous easy gear... More

Social Goods

From the beginning, Social Goods set out to be a company that values charitable giving, community, families and amazing beer, wine and toys. They celebrate the pub feel with a safe environment for families. Think of Social Goods as your living room away from your living room. They've removed that bar stigma and have replaced it with a place for community. History was built on community and great beers and wines. Come and see what Social Goods has to offer. More

Farms, wineries, fruit stands and a chance to appreciate the more subtle and sublime life can be found in Newberg. Take a relaxing, scenic drive through the Chehalem hills from Newberg. Chehalem Aquatic & Fitness Center

The original Chehalem Aquatic Center opened on Dec. 20, 1970. This was the first major construction project of CPRD, then just five years old, funded by a tax bond of just $572,000. Built on the wooded outskirts of town, Newberg’s first indoor swimming pool facility had a projected lifespan of 50 years. Past the age of 40, as the community continued to grow, the facility began to deteriorate and its pool mechanics to become obsolete. Just as it occurred to form the park and recreation... More

Dead Mountain & Larison Rock Trails

9Mi, Challenging
Riding in Oakridge keeps getting better. It’s a virtuous cycle: it started with a handful of amazing routes. Word spread, and riders started coming for the fun. That led to even more good routes, and more riders coming… which leads to even more good routes. This daily double puts together two treats – Larison Rock, one of the original items on the Oakridge riding menu, and Dead Mountain, a newer offering, for a day you won’t soon forget. The premise: Catch one shuttle in the morning to... At approximately 0.6 mile the trail forks; a short side trail to the right leads to a viewpoint of the lower three-tiered falls, while the main trail continues to your left and climbs for another quarter of a mile where you reach the top of a cascading waterfall with pools above and below. The falls hit... More
