Et Fille Wines is a small, family-run, Oregon winery specializing in pinot noir. Et Fille means “and daughter,” to honor the father and daughter team making these wines. Our goal is to make single vineyard wines from the best pinot noir vineyards in the Northwest. We strive to make styles of wine which reflect the uniqueness of each vineyard, instead of stamping one style across them all.We always deal in small lots of grapes to enhance flexibility in our winemaking. We always sort, punch-down, and top-off by hand, staying close to the wine every step along its journey.

Tasting Room Hours: 11AM-5PM Friday, Saturday and Sundays; May through September Daily

In 1966, David and Diana Lett named their fledgling venture for the red-tailed hawks who make their home (EYE-ree) in the fir tree at the top of the original vineyard. The Eyrie Vineyards now comprises 49 acres of vines, planted at four different altitudes in the Red Hills of Dundee, about 30 miles southwest of Portland. The winery and tasting room is in nearby McMinnville. Annual production is about 8,000 cases, and all Eyrie wines are estate-grown. Recently, Jason Lett has taken over from his parents, carrying The Eyrie Vineyards into the second generation.
At The Eyrie Vineyards, we have always followed a simple precept: interfere as little as possible with processes of nature. This is, paradoxically, a complicated and labor-intensive approach, but we believe it produces the greatest wines. Each year, using sustainable practices, we strive to grow grapes that express their fullest and most authentic varietal flavors. In the winery, we take great care to preserve these flavors in the wines. As a result, the wines of The Eyrie Vineyards are internationally recognized for their classic elegance and longevity.

E.Z. Orchards Willamette Valley Cider is the culmination of 10 years effort to develop their orchard and refine their fermentation technique. They grow a selection of French, English, and Early American apple varieties. The fruit contain essential characteristics, necessary to impart structure and aroma in their Cidre. The predominant characteristics are attributed to French varieties (85% of the blend) contributing tannin for structure, fermentable sugars, and aroma. They use one low acid English variety with similar dynamics. The balance of the fruit is tart to achieve the acidity necessary to complete the structure and provide stability.

Fall Creek offers plentiful recreation opportunities. The most popular include camping, boating, fishing, swimming, picnicking, wildlife watching, and viewing scenery.

Cascara Campground, on the south shore near the point where Fall Creek enters the lake, is tucked away amid towering Douglas-fir trees. The 47 primitive campsites are great for tenters who remember that there are times when “roughing it” means just that.

Every campsite comes equipped with a fire ring and picnic table. A swimming area, complete with a deck, is a short walk from the campground. The boat ramp is nearby, too. The campground is open May 1 to September 30.

Looking for a place to camp with your group? A reservable group camp, Fisherman’s Point, is just across the road from Cascara campground.

And if you want to get out on the reservoir check out one of the five day-use areas. Winberry, with its two-lane boat ramp and parking for more than 100 cars and 150 boat trailers, is the largest. It’s also the only one to charge a day-use fee. The site is open May 1 to September 30.

There are four other day-use sites. Three offer primitive boat ramps. The North Shore site has a low-water ramp and is open year-round. The others are open May 1 to September 30.

Vital Stats: Cascara campground: open May 1 – Sept. 30. 47 primitive sites. Vault toilets.
Fisherman’s Point group camp: open May 1 – Sept. 30. 8 sites. Max. 8 people per site.
Winberry day-use area: open May 1 – Sept. 30. Boat ramp. Vault toilets.
North Shore day-use area: open year-round. Boat ramp.
To make reservations for Fisherman’s Point (minimum 5 RVs), call (541) 937-1173. For all others, call the Reserve America number listed under the contact information.
