Wow! Oregon is so breathtaking
With many wonders bestowed in its fold
From mountains to rivers to forests to farms
These wonders are for all to behold.

Crater Lake is nature’s mirror
As the sky admires its own beauty and surrounding glow
So beautiful is the scene
That even the wind forgets to blow

Mt. Hood is majestic
He towers over the land with his snowy crown
Letting people ski and frolic on his long and gentle slopes
While watching guard over the Portland town.

Just outside of Portland are the Multnomah Falls
Falling from a great height
Looking up one never ceases to wonder
At the wind blowing thin, wispy, strands of white

The mighty Columbia River flows from East to West
Like a master sculptor it has left his mark
Chiseling and cutting the rocks to form a gorge
In which each ripple leaves a spark.

Portland’s Garden is full of beautiful roses
They are so big, plentiful, healthy and bright
Like flower fairies dancing in the sun
When the wind blows they are a sight.

Farms of Oregon are endless and lush
Bountiful and filled with billowing stalks of grain
While the stalks grow and mature, one thing is for sure;
This land is not short of rain.
