Head to SharkBites Cafe in Coos Bay for some of the best fish tacos on the Oregon Coast.

Summer at the Oregon Coast calls for simple ingredients: sand between your toes, a cold beer at sunset and savory fish tacos to net the perfect day. Grilled or lightly fried, with flour or corn tortillas, and spicy or mild salsa — the Coast has it all made to order with the freshest catch of the day. We went fishing for picks from the Oregon Coast’s most passionate fish taco fans. Here’s what they’re hooked on:

San Dune Pub, Manzanita

Offshore Grill and Coffee, Rockaway Beach

Ben and Jeff’s, Pacific City

Central Coast

Tiki’s at 51st, Lincoln City

Tidal Raves, Depoe Bay

Georgie’s Beachside Grill, Newport

Local Ocean, Newport

Luna Sea Fish House, Yachats

South Coast

Brewin in the Wind in Oceanside, OR just west to Tillamook has the BEST Fish Tacos with a Mango/Kiwi Salsa. I promise it beats out most of these (I have had my share of fish tacos on the North/Central Coast.)

Don’t remember the name of it but it’s connected to Moment Surf shop. They have fish tacos with an awesome pineapple salsa. I drive 30 miles each way to get them regularly. Right next to the Pelican pub in Pacific City at Cape Kiwanda

The Bandon Fish Market in Bandon has just added a new fish taco to their menu. They now offer two: Corn tortilla, with grilled fish and a lime sauce AND, the flour tortilla, with battered fish and Baja sauce. They are both super, but the corn tortilla REALLY has everyone talkin :-)
