Head to Sharkbites Cafe in Coos Bay for some of the best fish tacos on the Oregon Coast.

Summer at the Oregon Coast calls for simple ingredients: sand between your toes, a cold beer at sunset and savory fish tacos to net the perfect day. Grilled or lightly fried, with flour or corn tortillas, and spicy or mild salsa — the Coast has it all made to order with the freshest catch of the day. We went fishing for picks from the Oregon Coast’s most passionate fish taco fans. Here’s what they’re hooked on:

North Coast
Ecola Seafoods Restaurant & Market, Cannon Beach
San Dune Pub, Manzanita
Offshore Grilling, Rockaway Beach

Central Coast
J’s Fish & Chips, Lincoln City
Tidal Raves, Depoe Bay
Local Ocean Seafoods Newport
Luna Sea Fish House, Yachats

South Coast
Sharkbites Café, Coos Bay
Tony’s Crab Shack, Bandon
Pancho’s Restaurante y Cantina, Brookings

Don’t remember the name of it but it’s connected to Moment Surf shop. They have fish tacos with an awesome pineapple salsa. I drive 30 miles each way to get them regularly. Right next to the Pelican pub in Pacific City at Cape Kiwanda

The Bandon Fish Market in Bandon has just added a new fish taco to their menu. They now offer two: Corn tortilla, with grilled fish and a lime sauce AND, the flour tortilla, with battered fish and Baja sauce. They are both super, but the corn tortilla REALLY has everyone talkin :-)
