I usually like to visit the sunny states. Yet when I visited Portland this past November I was amazed by its natural beauty. The falls coming down from above you are just breath taking. I must admit it was a wonderful journey!

I grew up in Portland and visited Multnomah Falls many times, mainly in summer and early fall, but never in winter. What a beautiful and majestic sight it must be in winter, shrowded in ice and snow with the cold mist adding layers of ice crystals to the surrounding rocks and shrubbery.
