Good Eats Near the University of Oregon

Café Lucky Noodle
Lucky Noodle is located only a few blocks away from campus, near Fifth Street Public Market. They serve a combination of delicious Italian and Asian-fusion dishes, along with a wide array of cocktails and desserts. I would recommend their three cheese tortellini- pecorino, romano and parmesan cheese stuffed organic pasta sautéed in a pesto cream sauce, topped with grilled chicken. Their almond chicken is also delicious, and includes chicken encrusted with herbs, toasted almonds and garlic breadcrumbs, finished in a light, lemon butter cream sauce with linguine pasta and sautéed vegetables. To top it off, finish your celebration meal with some Italian gelato.

Glenwood Café
Glenwood is also located near campus, in an adorable rustic house. They serve everything from breakfast through dinner, and each meal is so good! Many of their menu items are organic, which makes your dining experience completely guilt-free. For breakfast, I would highly recommend their breakfast burritos. The foccacia deli sandwich is also an excellent choice for lunch. They’ve also got burritos, soup, salads, espresso, desserts and more. Glenwood is an excellent place to take family members, as they’ve got something for everyone- even the most finicky eaters.

Oregon Electric Station
Oregon Electric Station is a very unique restaurant, as it was built in a historic railroad dining car. A wide variety of steaks, seafood, pasta and prime rib are served daily. Be sure to try the seafood fetuccine, one of the restaurant’s most legendary dishes! Besides having great food and one of the largest back bars in Oregon, the Electric Station also has live music- perfect for a graduation celebration!

Rice Time

If you’re looking for delicious Asian food at a reasonable price, Rice Time is an excellent lunch or dinner destination. Their yakisoba noodle dish with chicken is quite tasty, and the portions are excellent for the price.

Rick’s Place
If you are looking for a casual yet cozy place to relax, Rick’s Place is the spot for you. They have an extensive espresso menu, along with café items such as sandwiches, quesadillas and desserts. A perfect place to catch up and talk, or to relax with a book before heading over to the graduation ceremonies.

Congratulations to all those who are graduating this year!
