10 Chefs, 10 Weeks, 10 Tastes
Spending a day as a chef sounds like vacation to us, but what do the chefs do on their time off? We asked some of the best to share their secret passions with us, and this fall, we’re following them around to experience them through their refined culinary senses. Turns out, the best chefs in the country choose Oregon not just for the exceptional culinary scene, but because they get to develop personal relationships with the producers who make the ingredients they love. They care about the forest, land, sea, rivers and fields that make Oregon products so desirable, and the “work” of a chef a whole lot of fun.
So follow along week-by-week as we fly-fish the Deschutes River with Chef Philippe Boulot. Milk a cow and make cheese. Go crabbing on the coast. Turn water into beer. And crush grapes into legendary Oregon wine.
We’re calling it a Wanderfeast, because that’s what happens when you let your taste buds lead you on a quest for the best of Oregon’s flavors at their peak.
It’s 10 weeks of foodie bliss, and we’re giving you a chance to win a Wanderfeast all your own: you and three friends, sampling the bounty of Oregon in an all-inclusive escape. You’re welcome.
