The Bend Ale Trail officially launched in 2010 and will continue as a must-do activity for the avid craft-brew buff. The city of Bend has 10 world-class craft breweries-and counting-most all within walking distance of one another. The breweries include Bend Brewing Company, Boneyard Beer Co., Brew Works Brewing, Cascade Lakes Brewing Company, Deschutes Brewery, GoodLife Brewing, McMenamins Old St. Francis School, Silver Moon Brewing, and 10 Barrel Brewing. The trail also expands to nearby Sisters, Oregon where Three Creeks Brewery resides. The Bend Ale Trail gives visitors and locals alike a glimpse into the unique craft brewery culture of Central Oregon. You can learn about the cutting-edge brewing techniques used by Bend’s brewers, meet the artisan brewers who have launched the Bend beer scene onto the world stage, and experience the diversity of styles, art and taste that differentiate each of our region’s breweries.

Your first step is to either pick-up the latest edition of the Bend Ale Trail Atlas Bend Discovery Map, which acts as your printed guide and contains the official passport. Or, you can also visit www.BendAleTrail.com to download your passport.

Collect those stamps as you visit each of the breweries because that completed passport will be worth something in the end. No purchase is necessary at the breweries to get your stamp, but you’ll miss out on the best part-the delicious beer! Also, be sure to ask your friendly server if they have any Bend Ale Trail specials available that day. All this walking can be tiring so we have you covered there. Along with kicking back in a comfy ride between stops for beer, you’ll get to hear all about Bend’s beer, history, quirky facts and experience John Flannery in the flesh, one of Bend’s most lovable locals.

After your passport is all stamped up, stop by the Visit Bend Welcome Center to get your prize.
