Silent Creek Trail follows Silent Creek through stands of lodgepole pine, crossing marshy meadows on boardwalks. There are a lot of wildflowers and mosquitoes in spring and early summer.

This trail receives about equal amount of summer and winter use as it is very popular with Nordic skiers. The trail is closed to all horse and motorized use due to conflicts with other users and public interest.

Directions: From Prospect: Travel northeast on Highway 230 until its junction with Highway 138. Continue on 138 another .3 miles to Road 6592 and turn right. Proceed one mile and turn left onto Road 4795. Follow 4795 1.8 miles to the trailhead which starts at Silent Creek bridge.
