This gentle loop trail leads through semi-wet marshland associated with Big Marsh and continues on the west side of the east ditch. Panoramic views of Big Marsh and surrounding buttes are experienced. Forest regulations prohibit use of motorized vehicles on this trail to prevent soil erosion.

Directions: From Crescent Lake Junction: Travel about 7 miles south on Highway 58, take Forest Service Road #5825. Travel approximately 5 miles to Forest Service Road #5825-540. This road leads directly to the nature trail.

Seasonal Access: Normally Open: Summer-Fall
