Overlooking the Upper Klamath Lake, Southern Oregon’s natural untamed beauty and vast open spaces, Running Y invites golfers to take in a world of pristine outdoors. One of Oregon’s 7 Golf Gems, this mountain golf retreat boasts 3,600 square feet of woodlands and meadows. It’s Oregon’s only Arnold Palmer design. Arnold Palmer, referred to as “The King”, has designed courses in 26 countries and places The Running Y among his favorite designs.
A regular on Golf Week’s “Oregon Top 10,” Running Y plays like two very different courses. The front skirts meadows and flirts with an extensive historic wetlands area, where several water carries are required; the back winds through lake-dotted woodlands typical of the Oregon Outback. With 5 tee boxes at each hole, the course welcomes players of all skill levels and is exceptionally inviting in the fall, when aspens are in vibrant display.
As a member of the Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary System, the Running Y is actively involved in protecting our environment and preserving the natural heritage of the game of golf.
Enter to win the ultimate Oregon golf adventure, including a three-night stay and three rounds of golf at two of these 7 Gems and a group lesson with a GOLF Magazine Top 100 Teacher.
